Samford’s oral history program, S.T.O.R.I. is a platform for undergraduate research. Samford students work closely with our office to design and conduct original interview projects that record stories that might otherwise never be told and create unique sources for future generations.
The program creates new experiential learning opportunities while engaging Samford students in the local community in meaningful, unique ways. Getting students out of the classroom and engaged with people that lived through and participated in history they’ve only read about in a book leaves a lasting impression.
